Today’s Word This persecution forced Philip out of Jerusalem. He was pushed out of his comfort zone. What's interesting is that previously God had poured out His Spirit upon the believers in Jerusalem. The same God who showed them that powerful sign could have stopped the persecution, but it was for a purpose--a plan to push them into their destiny. It was in Samaria that Philip saw the greatest days of his ministry. If he had stayed in Jerusalem, he would never have reached his full potential. God knows how to get you out of your comfort zone. He opened the door; He can close the door. That closed door is God pushing you. Maybe you've been pushed out of Jerusalem, so to speak, through a bad break, a disappointment, a betrayal. Don't

Indeed they say to me, “Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come now! " Jeremiah 17:14,15 In Jeremiah 17, the prophet is receiving pressure from the rebellious people of Judah. They are continually asking him, “Where is the word of the LORD? (Jeremiah 17:15). The people were demanding a word from the Lord. They were saying, “God give me a word!” We cry out for that too. Oftentimes we want a word from the Lord—we want direction, comfort, strategy, or encouragement. But what if God said, “I want to make you a word.” God wants to make you a living word—an epistle! He wants to demonstrate His word through your life. Jeremiah knew where his help came from—it wasn’t a prophetic word. It was from the source of th
