Daily Devotional (September-26-2023) UNDERSTANDING MUTUAL SUBMISSION

Daily Devotional (September-26-2023) UNDERSTANDING MUTUAL SUBMISSION : Daily Devotional (September-26-2023) UNDERSTANDING MUTUAL SUBMISSION. Scripture Reference: "Honour Christ by submitting to each other." Ephesians 5:21 (The Living Bible). Mutual Submission basically involves everyone living in a spirit of humility and care for each other. Each Christian believer is to respect and love the other person. The Lord Jesus summarized this sense by constantly using the phrase “Love one another”. The Mark of Authentic Christianity is Agape Love. We are in many ways exhorted to be kind and gracious. Philippians 2:4 says that we are to treat each other ‘with the humility of mind’. The Christian Race is an individual race that requires corporate effort and collaboration. One of the major requirements for any productive and successful believer is submission to the Lord (Jam. 4:7). It is impossible to submit to a man without submitting to his body, hence nobody can claim to be submis

Joseph Prince September-24-2023 Live Sunday Service Online at New Creation Church “Be careful to celebrate the Day of Atonement on the tenth day of that same month—nine days after the Festival of Trumpets. You must observe it as an official day for holy assembly, a day to deny yourselves and present special gifts to the LORD”  (Leviticus 23:27 NLT). The DAY OF ATONEMENT, or Yom Kippur, is God’s biblical holy day that He established on His sacred calendar as a covenant of repentance and promise for you and to release the fullness of His blessings and presence into your life! WE ARE TO BRING GOD AN OFFERING OF SACRIFICE! In fact, the Day of Atonement includes: Prayer Fasting Sacrificial Offerings Studying God’s Word The Day of Atonement also gives you the opportunity to  receive SEVEN SPECIFIC PROMISES from God .  The blessings that follow are reserved for those who are obedient to His holiest day and commandment . In Exodus 30, God commanded Moses on how to atone for the sins of the peo

My devotions focus on this very holy day, a time when our attention is on receiving and giving forgiveness. There is a story told about a great rabbi who would address God every night, saying, “God, I sinned today, but tomorrow I shall not sin again. I know I said this yesterday, but this time I really mean it.” He would say this every single evening! Every time he said it, he meant it no less than the day before. This story resonates with me as we complete the High Holy Days with the observance of  Yom Kippur , the Day of Atonement. Every
