John Hagee (October-17-2023) Daily Devotion: 2 Chronicles 7: October 17: God's Return "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him." Genesis 26:12 The purpose of our offering is to place our trust in God, allowing Him to place blessing upon us for that trust. God doesn’t need the gift, but we certainly need to give to Him. A remarkable example of why we can trust God with our gifts is found in today’s verse the tells of Isaac’s successful year as a farmer. However, the preceding verses reveal why Isaac’s success was so significant. You see, Isaac was farming in the middle of a famine. Bumper crops do not take place in a famine. No crops grow in a famine. The famine was so severe, and Isaac’s crop was so great, that he probably was the only farmer with sufficient crops to sell to others. He had a corner on the market, which allowed him to become so wealthy that the heathen envied his success. Isaac’s success was becaus

Daily Devotional (October-13-2023) RECEIVING THE COMMENDATION OF GOD

Daily Devotional (October-13-2023) RECEIVING THE COMMENDATION OF  October 13: Above Every Name "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth," Philippians 2:9,10 You know you’re famous when people readily recognize your name. In a group of golfers, no one will think you are talking about an animal if you mention the name “Tiger”. In a basketball crowd, the name “Shaq” won’t bring about images of a small run-down house. In the business world, the name “Buffet” probably won’t be confused with an all-you-can-eat restaurant. What happens when there is a name that is recognized both in heaven and on earth? God has exalted the name of Jesus above not only everyone but everything. Sickness and disease, poverty and depression are subject to that mighty Name. All things recognize that name and all must bow to it. Jesus

Joyce Meyer (10 de octubre de 2023) Devocional diario: Los deseos de tu corazón October 11: It's Time to Shine "And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance." Romans 5:3 To have a testimony you must first go through a test. For supernatural glory to be manifested, you must realize that your testing is not for your benefit alone, but for God’s glory to be made known through you. Paul went through persecution, attacks, mockery, abandonment, stoning, and great opposition. His journey throughout his earthly life was like a walk down “Hell Boulevard.” When Paul said we glory in tribulation, he meant that despite what comes our way, we can make it through with peace, with joy and with God’s arms wrapped around us. It is impossible to appreciate someone’s glory until you know his or her story. The man who wrote one-third of the New Testament, who knew several languages and was educated to the highest degree of his day was s

Salmos 9:1 Te alabaré, oh Jehová, con todo mi corazón; Contaré todas tus maravillas. | Biblia Reina Valera 1960 (RVR1960) | Download The Bible App Now | The Bible App | Bible.com He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, he who rules his [own] spirit than he who takes a city.  -   Proverbs 16:32  (AMPC) Be Angry and Sin Not All of us experience anger at different times. It’s a part of life—it’s a God-given emotion that signals we are being mistreated or something’s just not right. However, like any emotion, if it’s not managed properly, it can get out of control and become destructive. But with God’s help, we can learn how to deal with our feelings and walk in His peace. I’ll never forget one morning about 25 years ago. I was preparing to go preach at a ladies meeting at my church in St. Louis when my husband, Dave, and I got into an argument. I admit, I was really mad! I continued to think angry thoughts and have angry feelings. Then my anger turned into guilt, and I thought,
