December 29: Mountain Climbers

"And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain."

Exodus 19:17

It is on the mountain that you meet with God, find your purpose, and receive revelation, direction, and truth. But not everyone will go to the mountain. There are three kinds of mountain climbers in a spiritual adventure. There are the “can’t doers” who make excuses why they can’t go. They never go after the promise.

They camp out and never take the adventure.

Then there are the “climbers” who work upward toward the top. They make the effort to find the Word, but the battle is about the Word inside of you. Finally, there are the “can doers”. They are more than conquerors. They press on to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Determine to become a “can do” climber and don’t settle for less.
