La libertad para volar

Para sacarle el máximo provecho a este devocional, lea los pasajes a los que se hacen referencia.

El trapecio volador es uno de los actos más emocionantes del circo. Con los rostros vueltos hacia el cielo, miramos con una sensación de asombro cómo los trapecistas dan una voltereta, se retuercen y se deslizan hasta los brazos de alguien que los recibe, y después regresan a su base en actitud triunfal.

Lo que no vemos son las horas de práctica agotadora. Los trapecistas necesitan cultivar confianza entre ellos, si quieren triunfar.

Los creyentes podemos experimentar una alegría similar. Pablo enfatizó la importancia de las diferencias y los dones en 1 Corintios 12.19, 20: “Porque si todos fueran un solo miembro, ¿dónde estaría el cuerpo?

Pero ahora son muchos los miembros, pero el cuerpo es uno solo”. Cada uno de nosotros está diseñado de manera única. Sin embargo, en Cristo trabajamos en unidad, entregándonos unos a otros con amor.

PIENSE EN ESTO

  • Describa la alegría de ser parte del Cuerpo de Cristo. Si no lo ha experimentado, ¿cómo podría buscarla?
  • ¿A qué tarea específica del Cuerpo se le ha llamado? ¿Cómo puede ejercitar su don más plenamente en la iglesia, en el hogar o en el trabajo?
