June 30: Beginning with the End

““I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”"

Revelation 1:8

Christ is only referred to as the Alpha and Omega in the Book of Revelation. The first and the last letters of the Greek alphabet represent the beginning and the end, and everything in between. It carries a dual meaning in that God is the absolute source of creation and of history.

The illustrated way to portray the alphabet and the use of alpha and omega is not linear but cyclical. The issues of life are cyclical. God works in patterns and in time frames. It is God’s design to work and rework His will into your life.

Remember God is there no matter what or when you face your date with destiny.

God is the one “who is and who was and who is to come.” He is ever-present, so call on Him today. Reflect on the various times that the Lord has come through for you.

"He is ever-present in your time of need."
