Day 236: Winning the Battle (Proverbs 20:25-21:4, 1 Corinthians 15:50-16:4, 2 Chronicles 21:4-23:21)
Day 236: Winning the Battle (Proverbs 20:25-21:4, 1 Corinthians 15:50-16:4, 2 Chronicles 21:4-23:21): Proverbs 20:25-21:4
25 It is a trap to dedicate something rashly

27 The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord
that sheds light on one’s inmost being.
28 Love and faithfulness keep a king safe;
through love his throne is made secure.
29 The glory of young men is their strength,

30 Blows and wounds scrub away evil,
and beatings purge the inmost being.
21In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water

4 Haughty eyes and a proud heart—
the unplowed field of the wicked—produce sin.
