The Chat with Priscilla 50 Shades of Grace (Part 1

September 28: It's Time

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."

Acts 3:19

When a fresh move of God comes your way, it comes because the mercy of God has been placed in your heart. Repentance brings refreshing. The refreshing brings a sense of relief.

In Greek, the word for refreshing means “to be cool or refreshed by a change of temperature.” God changes the temperature of our season when we repent. When refreshing comes, it changes everything. The word for time in Greek is kairos; it means “due measure, due proportion, when used of time, signifies a fixed or definite period, a season, sometimes an opportune or seasonable time.”

At the right appointed time, God will send His equipping, preparing anointing to you to help you become the person you were created, designed, and precisely made to be. At the right time or in due season, God will burst forth with His refreshing presence.

Want to speed up this refreshing season? Ask the Lord to search your heart and see if there is any offensive way in you. Refreshing often starts with repenting.

Set your clock for a refreshing.
