November 14: Watch Your Words

“You have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth."

Proverbs 6:2

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the

heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession” (Hebrews 4:14).

We need to hold fast to our confession. In other words, we need to have the tenacity to never let go. We hold on or let go through our confession—our words.

When God engraves His Word in your heart, there aren’t enough devils in hell to take it out unless you let them. The way they get into our hearts is through our words. You are snared, put in a trap or cage, by the failure to talk like God would have you talk.

Keep your mind renewed in what God says in His Word. You will experience good and bad things in this life, but no matter what ...Keep your thoughts on Him. Because your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your character, and your character becomes your destiny.

Fill your thoughts with God’s Words.
