Luke 1:49 The Lord reveals Himself to those who earnestly seek Him, showing His might to the weak, lifting up the humble, and filling the hungry with good things. His faithfulness echoes through the ages, and His promises are unwavering. With a heart attuned to God’s faithfulness, Mary remembered His deeds and stood firm in the belief that He would uphold the covenants made with Abraham. Imagine the delight of the Lord when, as His promises begin to unfold in our lives, we respond not with silence but with exuberant praise. Envision our voices joining Mary’s in proclamation! Ask yourself, does your soul magnify the Lord? Does your heart rejoice in God your Savior? Or has the season’s hustle, the endless lists, and the wrapping paper overshadowed the true reason we celebrate? Remember, God’s promises might not always arrive in the package we anticipated. Don’t let haste or rigid expectations cause you to overlook the fulfillment of your deepest desires simply because it looks different than you imagined. God is intimately acquainted with our desires and the promises He’s made. Rest assured, when He acts on His word, the reality will far surpass our grandest dreams. Let us hold fast to this truth as we celebrate! image
