I truly believe that most Christians today are not truly experiencing all that God has in store for them. In other words, they are living far below what God has in store for them and are not enjoying a more abundant life. They are experiencing confusion in life, heartache, heartbreak, suffering, pain, and there is no joy from the Lord present in their lives. The reason for this, I believe, is that we have traded the wisdom of God's Word for the wisdom of men. You can't go wrong when you depend on the Lord for everything. Dear believer, please understand that every good thing you have ever received comes from the Lord and more importantly through Christ and what He did at Calvary. If YOU 31 DAYS OF WISDOM If we desire to have what Solomon writes about a joyful heart, this can only come through what Christ has accomplished for us. Let me take this opportunity to give you a brief instruction on the cross of Christ. First, we must understand that Jesus Christ is the source of all blessings. Second, the cross is the means by which we receive these blessings. Third, faith is the key that unlocks the door. Fourth, the Holy Spirit oversees everything. A proper understanding of the cross of Christ relegated to our everyday lives and existence begins and ends with the cross. Putting our faith in Christ and the cross simply means understanding that everything we receive from God was paid for by Christ through what He did at Calvary. It cannot come in any other way or means. This is the only way we as Christians can experience a joyful heart. Even in the midst of a storm that has been interpreted by Satan or allowed by God, we can have what Jesus described as “life more abundantly.” It has been said that Christians are the happiest people on the planet and they should be because of what they have experienced in Christ.
