31 DAYS OF WISDOM OF GOD
PROVERBS 19;8
8;He who possesses understanding loves his soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good.
31 DAYS OF WISDOM OF GOD
Proverbs 19;8
WISDOM IS THE THEME of the book of Proverbs, and true wisdom can only come through an understanding of God's Word. When a person studies the Bible and has an understanding of God's Word, he will gain wisdom and understanding like no other book in the world can. Not only will it bring wisdom and understanding regarding our life and daily living, but it will also benefit the soul. By striving to gain wisdom, the Christian shows a respect for his own soul. While other types of wisdom may stimulate the mind, they are bland and leave the soul empty. True wisdom, which comes from the Bible, not only helps the believer in life, but it also leaves the soul refreshed, renewed, and restored.
We live in a time when biblical knowledge is at a stage;
31 DAYS OF WISDOM FROM GOD
The situation is dire; we are in a time of famine. There may be churches on every corner with more people than at any other time in history, but there is a lack of teaching of the Word of God. And where there is a lack of teaching, there will be little understanding of how to live. At the same time, I believe there is a biblical awakening taking place in the hearts and lives of believers around the world who have a strong and sincere desire to learn more about the Bible. And when there is a desire to learn about the Bible, God will bring an awakening to their souls. I am seeing it among our young people here at Crossfire, who have a great appetite for the things of God, and one of those things is the study of the Word. I have heard the excuse that the Bible is too difficult to understand. But with the help of the Expositor's Study Bible, the Bible really comes to life as it helps break down the Scriptures to make them easier to understand.
The Bible is the key to discovering the truths of life, but it must be properly taught through the new covenant. This means that the cross of Christ must be the center of everything, because this is how we can have a more abundant life. Without an understanding of the cross of Christ for;
Proverbs 19;8
Sanctification, the believer will live a life full of ups and downs, highs and lows, with little to no victory in his life. God does not want us to experience life this way, but rather He desires for us to have victory over every area of our life that does not please Him, and we do this by simple faith in Christ and what He did at Calvary. ■
