Proverbios 26:1 Como no conviene la nieve en el verano, ni la lluvia en la siega, Así no conviene al necio la honra. | Biblia Reina Valera 1960 (RVR1960) | Download The Bible App Now31 DAYS OF WISDOM OF GOD PROVERBS 26:1 1;As snow is not fitting in summer, nor rain in harvest,So is honor not fitting for a fool. 31 DAYS OF WISDOM OF GOD If that person does not understand the Bible, the Lord calls him a fool. The very definition of a fool is this: “a person who acts in a reckless or foolish manner,” which perfectly describes a biblically illiterate person. God’s constant reference to such a person as a fool means that He takes our development and growth as Christians very seriously. And the only way to grow and mature is to have a relationship with Him through the study of His Word and prayer. In the book of Psalms, there is an entire chapter dedicated to Bible study. In Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible, we find David writing, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that the Bible is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Without the Bible, we would not be able to know where we were, where we are, and where we are going. We would be completely lost, like a ship without a sail, drifting aimlessly on the high seas. It is dangerous, misguided, and will lead to spiritual shipwreck. The world is full of people who ignore God's Word, and because of this, the world is full of heartache, failure, disappointment, pain, and suffering. 31 DAYS OF WISDOM FROM GOD Proverbs 26;1 THROUGHOUT THE BOOK of Proverbs, we see how much value the Lord places on the subject of wisdom. However, we must clarify that it is divine wisdom and not wisdom that God is dealing with in this book. Divine wisdom is always based on God's Word and nothing else. If a person has a proper, working knowledge of God’s Word with their faith anchored in Christ and the seed and Holy Spirit working in their life, then there will be divine wisdom. Without a proper knowledge of God’s Word and without an understanding of the cross of Christ in relation to sanctification, then the opposite will happen. One thing the Lord does that may seem somewhat harsh to some is to label everyone who does not know or understand the Bible as “fools.” It doesn’t matter if that person has a number of Proverbs 26;1 If you rarely pick up the Bible or only do so periodically, I encourage you to change that and get into the Word every day. Study, meditate, learn, memorize, and discover the wonderful benefits of the greatest book ever written, the Bible. It is truly our road map for our daily lives, and whatever problem you are facing, you will find God’s comfort, peace, direction, and guidance in its pages. It will be the greatest study of your life, and your life will be greatly enriched spiritually. ■ RUBÉN REFLECTIONS:
