How can we drive them out?’ But do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt...” Deuteronomy 7:17–18, NIV Remember What God Has Done The Israelites were headed toward the Promised Land, but they were up against nations with huge armies that were stronger and more skilled in warfare. The Israelites had just come out of slavery and were just trying to survive in the desert. They were very discouraged when Moses spoke these words to them: “Don’t be afraid. Just remember what God did to Pharaoh.” If you’re going to overcome obstacles, if you’re going to reach your highest potential, you have to learn to remember. On a regular basis, we should go back over the major victories in our life. When you face tough times and your dream looks impossible, just remember. Go back and replay your victories. Relive the times God made a way.

Your Calling Is Irrevocable | bibleinoneyear.org : My father, like many Jews, never lived in Israel. The Jewish people are scattered all over the world. In 1947 the state of Israel was re-established. Around 7.5 million people live in Israel today, of whom approximately 6 million are Jews. There are many other Jews still scattered around the world today. I like how Eugene Peterson translates the New Testament passage for today using the term ‘insiders’ for the Jewish people and ‘outsiders’ for the non-Jewish people. Many individual Jews over the years have become Christians. In fact, all the very earliest Christians were Jewish ‘insiders’. But now the vast majority of Christians are non-Jewish ‘outsiders’. The Power of One More Prayer | IFCJ : It’s not that we get God to change his mind by our repetitive prayers. It’s that we change ourselves through our many prayers. El poder de una oración más "  En ese momento le rogué al Señor  :" - Deuteronomio 3:23 Cada semana en la sinagoga, los judíos leen la  Torá  desde el Génesis hasta el Deuteronomio. La porción de la  Torá  para esta semana es  Va'etchanan  , que significa "supliqué", de Deuteronomio 3: 23–7: 11. ¿Cuán poderosa es la oración? Creo que la mayoría de nosotros ya hemos descubierto que la oración es muy poderosa. Para mí, la oración es como paso cada día, desde el momento en que me levanto hasta que me voy a dormir. Es en lo que confié durante los días más oscuros después de que mi padre, el rabino Yechiel Eckstein, falleció. Es lo que me ha sostenido desde entonces.
