El libro de Ester nos da un ejemplo maravilloso de esto. En Ester 6, vemos que el rey Asuero “no podía dormir y dio orden que trajeran el libro de las Memorias, las crónicas, y que las leyeran delante del rey” (Est 6.1 LBLA). Como resultado, Asuero se enteró de un complot de asesinato contra él que había sido evitado por un hombre llamado Mardoqueo. Lleno de gratitud por este acto de servicio, el rey hizo planes de honrar a Mardoqueo. Pero lo que Asuero no sabía era que Amán, uno de los asesores reales, estaba conspirando para ahorcar a Mardoqueo y exterminar al pueblo judío (Est 5.14). Cuando tenemos algo que compartir, es natural que deseemos recibir plena atención. ¿Quiere saber algo? Dios espera lo mismo. Él habla con un propósito y espera nuestra total atención.
