Todays Word | Joel Osteen Ministries : A Heart of Compassion  DEC 11, 2023 Today's Scripture 1 John 3:17, AMPC  If anyone…sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?  Today's Word In Matthew 20, when two blind beggars cried out for Jesus to have mercy on them, it says that “Jesus stopped and called them,” then He healed them. Jesus always took time for people. He was never too busy with His own agenda, with His own plans. He wasn’t so caught up in Himself that He was unwilling to stop and help any person in need. He could have easily said, “Listen, I have a schedule to keep.” But no, Jesus had compassion on people. He freely gave of His life.    Make sure that you keep your heart of compassion open. We need to be willing to be interrupted and inconvenienced if it means we can help meet someone’s needs. Sometimes if we would just take the time to listen to them, we could help ini

Daily Devotional (December-05-2023) BECOMING A FAITHFUL STEWARD

Daily Devotional (December-05-2023) BECOMING A FAITHFUL  December 5: Your Stronghold "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him." Nahum 1:7 The Prophet Nahum had been declaring the fierceness of God's anger, wrath and fury that He would pour out on the city of Nineveh if the people refused to repent and turn from their vile ways. In the midst of speaking judgment, anger and doom, this verse provides us all a ray of hope. Our problems don’t catch God off guard. Jesus warned us that problems would come. “In the world you will have tribulation” (John 16:33). Not only does God not expect you to go through it alone, He expects you to run to Him for help. Remember God’s goodness and place your trust in Him. He is the stronghold you can cling to in the storm. He calms every storm.

Confía en Dios en todo momento: 365  December 1: Life and Light "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." John 1:4 Have you ever pondered the intense energy and power that was resident in Jesus and emanated from Him? He demonstrated that life in so many extraordinary ways. People were drawn to Him. The life in Him was a light to mankind. He laughed with children. He danced and drank at wedding feasts. He healed the sick. He told fantastic stories. He fiercely hated the hardened hearts of pompous religious people. But the best part is that after Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to the Father, everyone who believes in Him receives that same life. Think of it! His life is inside you! Anything He did, you can do – and more (John 14:12)! Jesus simply demonstrated that a life of total submission to the Holy Spirit yields a fantastic, powerful, and exciting life. Don’t be fooled. This is not a cheap gospel. There is a price of submission. That means putting to death
